From the time I was six years old and my mother took me to the theatre to see "The 7th Voyage of Sinbad" in 1958, I have been drawn to and intrigued by all that is unusual. Sci-Fi, Horror, Paranormal, Monsters, Vampires, Werewolves, etc….
As I progressed through life I was taken aback by the shear genius of the work of Ray Harryhausen. He was the master of the moveable monsters like the Cyclops in the movie referenced above. Later my interests latched onto 50’s Sci-Fi black and white movies where I ran into the original "The Day The Earth Stood Still".
Whenever I watched a show or movie or read a book I literally saw myself entrenched in the story. I felt what the characters felt, saw what they saw and experienced what they experienced. It was the attraction to that which put a tiny thought into my mind to write a story. The draw became strongest when I was in high school and from there the creative juices began to flow, along with the thought of writing my own stories which gave me a feeling unlike any I had experienced before.
Jump ahead to February 2008 when I found myself unemployed and out of excuses to write my first book. I started it then and finished it around Thanksgiving of that year. I am currently editing my book and have also done some early writing for a second book unrelated to the first one. I am enjoying this process so much that I really can’t see myself doing anything else with my professional life.
My books are probably geared to late teens up to senior citizens. Nothing would make me happier than to see my books made into successful movies.
I have never been a man of huge means yet there is so much good that I could do with that issue leaving my life.
Growing up I, for a brief time was a ventriloquist. That led me to Magic. As a matter of fact, while my friends were working as cashiers in retail stores, I was performing for adults and children as my way of earning income in high school.
Although there are about a bazillion movies I love, my two favorites of all time are "A Clockwork Orange" and the original "The Day the Earth Stood Still".

Strolock

This is the story of a planet named "Strolok". The inhabitants of this planet are far advanced in literature, culture and education. The scope of the planet includes lush vegetation, beautiful, futuristic buildings, and scientific advancements that would challenge your hunger for knowledge. They are an unselfish people who are willing to share whatever they have with like-minded peaceful planets. If these people are ever called upon to assist another species they would never shy away from lending a helping hand. The majority of the story takes place in the state of Georgia in the south.
Unfortunately the time for Strolok to request assistance has arrived in the form of a future threat by a warrior faction known as the Traguul. The members of this race are despicable and care not for the well being of others. When they inhabit a planet they decimate its natural resources until there is little left to support and feed and support their race. As soon as their planet reaches almost critical levels, they search for a new planet to take over where they can begin their life process all over again. If the chosen planet is inhabited then they set out to develop a virus to unleash on the unsuspecting people, which cause their internal organs to fuse, leading to death by suffocation.
It is at this point that they move in and take over their new world. Life on the new planet is wonderful for quite a number of years until the cycle is repeated and they search for a new home in another galaxy.
With the leaders of Strolok are alerted to this potential destruction, they send an emissary to Earth in the form of a young boy to live amongst the population and gain knowledge of what the population is like and how they go about living their lives.
By the time this boy becomes a man he has already "marked" three Earth inhabitants as potential members of the team that he will amass to become the assistance of Strolok. This team will join in the mission of defending and saving their new neighbors by developing an antidote to the virus that the Traguul would unleash. Beware of the Traguul.
The plan is set and the combined actions of the Earth Team and the Strolok Team are joined in battle to rid themselves of the threat imposed by the Traguul. The mission is a success and as a matter of fact, one of the Earth Team decides to remain on Strolok to live out the remainder of his life.
The adventure that unfolds is one that amazes the Earth team that is assembled and creates a link for life with the gracious people of Strolok.
