Here's where you can sign up to display your work. I'm keeping it very simple so you can get in and out quickly, and the process is going to be so inexpensive you won't be able to afford not to get in.
Here's the plan.
1. You will receive a page for displaying your book cover graphic and descriptive text, plus your own photo and bio, and, yeah, the page will be long enough to accomodate a good amount of material. You will also be listed in the Index of Authors, the Index of Books, the Genre Index, and your book cover will go on The Gallery of Books which is constantly viewable by all. You will also be eligible to complete an Interview that will be published and linked to your page. These displays will be "static," or fixed, which means they will always be in view whenever anyone clicks into The Author's Inn. It means they will NOT be rotating in and out of view once a decade with thousands of other covers. All new authors to the site will have their book grapic(s) displayed in the Flipping Books portion of the Home Page and will rotate off as the maximum of new authors keeps being reached. Check out the authors that are already in to get an idea as to what your page will look like. Nothing fancy - just a good, decent display for you to work with and to direct people to your own personal site. Any links you put in your text will be live for your readers to follow, plus your book image and your own photo will also be live-linked to your page in this site.
2. This will be, for now, an adminstered site, which means that I will do everything in it. You will send me your materials and I will input it all into your page. I will try to make any small corrections that might be needed, but I will not make major changes. If I really don't think what you've sent is good, I'll contact you and/or send it back for you to change. Not being mean here, it's just I'm a one-man show and won't have time to make major or multiple corrections and I don't want the responsibility of determining what your page will be like. That's YOUR job.
3. The cost for setting up an author page which includes the first book, poem or short story will be a flat $25.00 (twenty-five dollars) which will enable you to have each of the items I've noted above. Each additional book, etc., you want in the site will have its own page, linked from your author page, and will be an additional $5.00 cost. No more cost - no less cost. I'n not intending to make income from this site, just to pay the actual cost of buying the server time and paying the actual bills. The fees will be one-time, lifetime charges and there will be no annual renewals. Pretty simple, eh?

4. There are PayPal buttons at the bottom of this page that you will use to make your $25.00 payment and any additional book $5.00 payments. Make a PayPal $25.00 payment for your first page which will include your first book, article or poem. If you want to put multiple books on the site, you can use the second button to make the $5.00 payments for each additional book. When I receive notice from PayPal that your payment has been received, I'll e-mail you and we'll start the process of setting up your page. Be sure your full name and your e-mail address are entered so I can contact you.
5. You will then e-mail me your book cover graphic and your photo (neither are required, but I would assume you will want either or both) and the text for your book description and your bio. (Photos and graphics MUST be in JPEG or GIF formats only.) We may then communicate back and forth if I have questions or suggestions or if there are any problems. Ultimately, I will send you a message back that you are on the site so you can review it. This should all take only a few days unless I get a zillion authors coming in at one time.
6. The site and page templates and the color schemes, etc., are fixed. I want to keep the site very inexpensive, so there won't be any frills. No personal, individual designs.
7. As we go down the road, you will be able to request some changes in wording, pictures, etc. So, if things change on your end, be sure to get in touch through the Contact Me button and we can discuss what you need and what will be possible. I will try to be accomodating, but there may be other authors and needs in front of your request, so I hope you will be patient as well.
8. PLEASE, before you hit the button, pay your money and submit your material, read the About the Site and Site Rules pages. If your materials fall into any of the do not categories, don't waste your time and money. Find another site, please.
